Greetings!

The Malaysia Women Artists Association is organising Coffee Art Painting Workshop and Charirty Exhibtion 2023. It is a charity event to raise fund for Persatuan Kabajikan Ji Xiang Pulau Pinang (NGO). Ji Xiang Nursing Home is a non profit organisation in Ayer Itam, open to the poor, needy and underprivileged elderly.

Why Coffee Art Painting?

Our idea of coffee art painting is inspired by Ramrocha organic coffee ‘Awaken your seven senses’ . Dr. Kris and Gerald Soh who are the founder came up with the idea for Ramro Cha, by the basic principle that we, as humans and fellow inhabitants of this planet, have both the duty and privilege to look after one another. It’s about raising our sense of awareness to the needs of others, and finding a way to meet those needs with a sense of honour and dignity. “For Us, It’s Not Just About Coffee… It’s About Creating a Movement for GOOD”. Malaysia Women Artists Association as an art organisation, through art form we express our support to charities creating a Movement for GOOD. This is why we use coffee as the medium to create artworks, and many people are attracted to the sepia tones of coffee, it gives a painting an overall sepia effect which is the color of nostalgia. It is practical, non-toxic and natural. It not only wakes us up in the morning but gathers people together, too.
