Irene Yap was born in Kedah in 1972. She graduated from Equator Art

College with a Diploma in Graphic Design. Then furthered her studies in

Preschool Education at the University Science of Malaysia (USM) graduated with her 2nd Diploma. After graduation, Irene devoted herself to advertising design. She has more than 20 years of experience in children art education and owns an art studio. She was also involved in voluntary Service.

 

Presently Irene works at an art auction house, practices cataloging, and curating, authenticating and designing work tasks. She is cheerful with colorful paintings surrounding her workplace, and perhaps it is the catalyst to make her fall in love with travel-sketch. She is Deputy Secretary of Cao Tang Men Arts Society.
