Over the years I have developed my career in arts and education. I graduated from Malaysia Institute of Art, obtained my Bachelor of Fine Art from Victoria College of Arts, the University of Melbourne, Australia and Master of Fine Art from University Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Perak, Malaysia.

I have had solo and group exhibitions in Malaysia, China, Bangladesh, Australia, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, South Korea and Taiwan. I was Malaysia representative for Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh in 2001; recipient of Bronze Award: 3rd Fukuoka International Open Show (Fukuoka), and awarded with Philip Morris Malaysia Art Awards with Honorable Mention, the Strover Award for Excellence from Australia and 3rd Fukuoka international Open Show with Bronze Prize.

I am currently a lecturer in Sunway University, having previously spent seven years of the same in the New Era College.

郭一梅, 1971年生，毕业于澳州墨尔本大学艺术系, 刚完成本地大学硕士学位。多次参加国内外美术展览，包括中国，孟加拉，澳洲，英国，比利时，法国，韩国和台湾。并代表国家参于东亚2001 双年艺术展。

 

作品曾入选“Philip Morris Malaysia Art Awards” Honorable Mention, 获澳州墨尔本大学颁发的“The Strover Award for Excellence”, 第三屆福冈国际书画展铜奖。

 

曾七年任职于新纪元学院, 现任双威大学美术系讲师。
