Born in Miri, Malaysia, Anne Koh is a Member of Malaysian Watercolour Society. She paints mainly with oil and water colour mediums.  It is the medium through which she can freely express her emotions.  She has found much inspiration from orchestral musicians’ amazing talent and musical expressiveness. The brilliant conductors conjuring life to the great symphonies and concertos radiate huge energy and expressions which she aspires to capture. 

 

Many of her paintings are of her twin nephews, both Australian cellists. It is they who have brought her to this wonderful world of music, and this new world is her focus and joy. In addition, she has also found great excitements in painting floral especially roses.
